W. Bruce Miller has been in the financial services industry for nearly a quarter of a century. In his early career, he worked for companies that include WordPerfect, Novell, and EDS. He has served as a chief executive at Utah’s largest independent bank; president of a financial start-up that experienced a successful acquisition; and president, chief operating officer and senior advisor for other firms.
Bruce founded The Professional Financial Company because he repeatedly saw two troubling things in the financial planning industry: services that catered only to wealthy clients instead of those across all socio-economic backgrounds, and advisors that failed to fulfill their fiduciary duties with utmost integrity. As a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, Bruce and his team bring world-class service to all of their customers with a promise to work in the client’s best interests.
Mary Miller BA Communications
Mary is a driving force behind client satisfaction and success at The Professional Financial Company. She guides insightful strategic and tactical decisions with a focus on client outcomes. Mary brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in small business & finance. She currently serves as chair for a scholarship board working in conjunction with the Utah Valley University Foundation.
In addition to PROFi, Mary has extensive experience leading organizational transformations, leadership development, client services, and HR operations. Mary received a BA in communications with a public relations emphasis from Brigham Young University and manages a private finance company while co-founding The Professional Financial Company with her husband Bruce. Mary is a Utah native and lives with her husband and daughter in Highland, Utah.
